   The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi, the apex body in India for the formulation, coordination and promotion of biomedical research, is one of the oldest medical research bodies in the torld.

Moving Academy of Medicine and Biomedicine (MAMB) Pune is the parent body of INFORMER which aims to close this gap between what is known and what is taught and nurture talent the academy has developed outreach programs of  Mobile workshops on current topics that takes new knowledge to students’ doorsteps.

MAMB is our parent organization; a national meeting of medical students in 2008 at Pune, organized by the MAMB, led to the formation of INFORMER.

The South Asian Cochrane Centre (SASIANCC), and Prof. B V Moses Centre for Research and Training in Evidence- Informed Health Care at the Christian Medical College in Vellore, India, is the geographical entity of the Cochrane Collaboration. They help the formulation of Evidence-Informed healthcare decisions in policy and practice.

The Centre led by Dr.Prathap Tharyan, has had a continued presence at our events. They have helped us organize workshops and events for medical students. They also support the Cochrane Students' Journal Club which is hosted jointly with INFORMER.

 

Pakistan Medical Students Research Society is an initiative taken by the students of Dow Medical College to promote research in Pakistan.

Understanding the similarities in our goals, we have partnered with them to find ways by which we can assist each other in furthering each others interests.
